Care for a cooling tea (凉茶) at the end of a hot day?

Well, growing the ingredients on your balcony is not hard as the plants can be found in the tropics.

This Cooling Tea (凉茶) consists of Oyester Plant (Tradescantia Spathacea), White Crane Herb (白鹤灵芝) (Rhinacanthus nasutus), dried sugar cane shoots, rock sugar and a few mint leaves.

The result will be a cooling purplish drink that can be used to regulated blood sugar levels, making this a potent preventative treatment for diabetes. It can lower blood pressure, and it is soothing, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory.

The Oyester Plant is a pretty ornamental plant which is low on maintenance and needs watering only once a week.

The White Crane Herb is also fairly low maintenance and has pretty little white flowers that looks like…
