I broke Shopee…

I have been using Shopee for a long time, and after getting a new phone, I decided to use Shopee app.

I used to log in using SMS, but I’ve seen that it now defaults to Whatsapp, which I’m using a different number, so Whatsapp function does not work for me. And now, it requires “Verification”

I’ve never used an email to register for Shopee, nor did I enter any password.

Now, I cannot access Shopee because I do not have a password and requires verification.

I’ve been trying to communicate with customer support of Shopee, and they have been trying to get this resolved, but all I need is for them to enter an email for me to send me a link to reset password without me having to enter “Old Password”

For almost 1 month, they have been unable to do so.

I’ve bought over $1,000 worth of products on Lazada for 9.9 as a result. And since I cannot access my Shopee account, I simply cannot buy anything or track the packages which have not arrived, or transaction cancelled.

Apparently, this is a common thing in Indonesia as I buy my Vespa parts from Shopee, shipped from Indonesia (Which cannot be found on Lazada)

Well, sad as it is, I think I may have to use Ebay again.

So tell me Shopee, are you using Scrum and how long does it take to resolve my problem?

Or is it that you are punishing me for being a long time customer and I broke your “system”?
