COVID-19, a virus that was first discovered in China in 2019 is now around the world and the new variant — Omicron is making headlines.
While many countries still have tight border controls and rules, some countries are relaxing internal rules as more people get vaccinated.
It is almost 3 years, and some people don’t believe the virus exist, others don’t believe the vaccine will help them.
The vaccine is probably rushed out, but with billions people taking the vaccine, it has proven to reduce the number of people going to ICU and reduce the number of deaths. We all need to know that vaccines does not prevent you from getting infected or prevent you from spreading the virus. Just like seat belts, just wearing seat belts does not prevent you from getting into an accident.
I’ve been to many cities and seen the attitudes to wearing masks. In the US, wearing a mask indoors is mandatory in big cities like Manhattan and Boston. And yes, the population is much more dense than the suburbs, and it makes sense, but largely, the attitudes of people (maybe because of COVID fatigue) is that they stopped caring about social distancing, and many of them still travel and gather in large groups.
