I usually follow the Olympics for some of the sports I enjoy watching. But since it requires increasing effort to watch a broadcast or live feed (because Singapore went full digital TV) I kinda just watch some of the matches I find on social media.

Refugee from Cameroon getting a medal in Paris Olympics 2024. She was born in Cameroon and moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 11. She was granted refugee status because of her sexuality. Homosexuality is illegal in Cameroon. (She is part of the Refugee Olympic Team) She cannot represent Great Britain because she does not have a British passport.

Well, while the Olympics celebrate the pinnacle of human performance, we can enjoy the creativity of other humans that bring us so many hours of interesting entertainment.
