Yes, there are a lot of good options now for 2B bikes in Singapore. Many new bikes have decent power and look good.

Even when I knew I wanted to ride something much bigger, but I have no choice as I only had 2B license, I chose to get something good looking. At that point of time, looks seemed to be more important than practicality.
I put down as much of a deposit I could, and took a 2 year loan to get the bike. The bike was fun as my first bike. I loved it a lot. The problem was, it was hell of an unreliable bike. Less than 2 years, the bike was leaking and in and out, with electrical and mechanical problems.
When I got my Class 2A license, I realized that I did not save much at all. Having a good looking 2B bike was such a bad idea as now, the bike was hard to sell (mechanical problems) and I was in debt (cannot clear loan off as I needed to pay a big penalty).
