Often you can get stains on your motorcycle, One of the places that gets stained easily is lighter colored leather.

I don’t throw away my old toothbrush and almost finished toothpaste just for this reason. They are great at removing stains.

Just wet toothbrush, add a little toothpaste and brush. The stain will come off.

However, take note that the toothpaste may leave “white stains” on the seat, so I generally use a leather cleaner to wipe off the white stains and give it a clean wet look when finish.

This hack can also work on old faded plastic. This bike is a 1987 K100RS, and the buttons are old and faded. I used the same method, using toothbrush and toothpaste on the old buttons.

After cleaning it, even the old words appear!

To get remove the “faded look” I generally use “armor all” to wipe it, giving it a “wet look” and it looks nice and newish again.

Go try it if you buttons are dirty or looks white and dirty.
